Surgery is the main treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer which involves the removal of cancerous tumour and some of the surrounding skin. Other treatments include; freezing (cryotherapy), anti-cancer creams, radiotherapy and a form of light treatment called photodynamic therapy (PDT).
